The Newsletter That Pays You in Bitcoin
The Oshi newsletter rewards subscribers with real bitcoin for engaging with every email. Discover Bitcoin-friendly businesses and earn sats just for reading.

There are plenty of great newsletters out there. This one also pays you bitcoin.
The Oshi newsletter is a free weekly email built around the businesses in the Oshi merchant network. Each issue covers who they are, what they make, and why they're worth paying attention to. And starting now, every email includes a poll that pays you real bitcoin just for answering it.
What Is the Oshi Newsletter?
The Oshi newsletter is a weekly email about independently owned businesses that have integrated Bitcoin into how they operate. These are brands that see the value in the Bitcoin community, make high-quality products, and have chosen to reward their customers in bitcoin.
Each issue features merchant spotlights, Bitcoin insights, deals, and platform updates. It's written by Oshi's founder and designed to be genuinely worth reading on its own. No filler. No fluff. Just real stories about real businesses doing interesting things.
Think premium electrolytes formulated by a former Gatorade Sports Science Institute researcher. Small-batch coffee roasted to order from direct-trade beans. Pasture-raised biltong. Skincare, hot sauce, wine. These are products that people already buy regularly. The difference is that these businesses are leaning into Bitcoin, and they reward you for shopping with them.
The newsletter is how you discover them.
Why These Rewards Are Different
Oshi operates a network of these Bitcoin-friendly businesses. Each merchant runs a rewards program where customers earn bitcoin back on purchases. That merchant network is what makes the newsletter rewards possible.
Because Oshi has real commerce happening on the other side, the newsletter can offer something most earn-bitcoin programs can't: meaningful amounts of sats, not dust.
Most platforms that give away bitcoin for completing tasks or watching ads are working off thin margins. The rewards are fractions of a cent because there's no real economic activity backing them. Oshi's model is different. The sats you earn from newsletter polls are backed by a network of businesses that benefit when real people discover them and shop with them.
That's the idea behind the whole thing. The newsletter introduces you to businesses you'd genuinely want to buy from. The polls keep you engaged. The sats give you a reason to open every email. And when you eventually shop at one of those businesses, everyone wins: the merchant gets a customer, you get great products, and you earn even more bitcoin on top of the sats you already accumulated.
How Do the Newsletter Rewards Work?
- Subscribe for free at bitcoinrewards.app/newsletter. No credit card, no app download required.
- Read the email. Each issue features a business, Bitcoin insights, or platform updates.
- Answer the poll. Every email has one. Single click. Takes about two seconds.
- Sats accumulate. Your earned bitcoin shows up in the rewards portal, where you can track your balance over time.
- Unlock by shopping. Make a purchase at any business on the Oshi network, and your newsletter sats become available for withdrawal. You also earn additional bitcoin rewards on the purchase itself.
The sats aren't points. They aren't tokens. Once unlocked, they can be withdrawn as real bitcoin to your own Lightning wallet.
Run the Numbers
Say the newsletter rewards 500 sats per poll. You engage with one email a week. After a month, you've accumulated 2,000 sats just from reading.
To unlock those sats, you make a purchase at any Oshi merchant. The threshold is 10x the reward value, so 2,000 sats (roughly $2 at current prices) means about $20 in purchases. That can be split across multiple orders and multiple businesses over time.
When you make that purchase, two things happen. Your newsletter sats unlock and become available for withdrawal. And you earn additional bitcoin rewards on the purchase itself, because every Oshi merchant runs its own rewards program with percentage-back on orders.
Your newsletter sats effectively work out to an additional 10% back on top of whatever the merchant already offers. You're earning rewards for reading, and then earning more when you shop.
The exact sats amount per poll will vary, but as the network grows, we expect to be able to increase rewards over time. And because the sats are real bitcoin, their value moves with the market. Rewards are part of Oshi's promotional loyalty program and are subject to the platform's terms of service.
Businesses on the Oshi Network
The Oshi marketplace has dozens of independently owned brands across health, food, skincare, outdoors, and more. A few examples:
Salt of the Earth makes premium electrolyte packs formulated by someone who spent a decade at the Gatorade Sports Science Institute. Farmer Bill's Provisions produces traditional biltong and meat sticks from pasture-raised beef and bison. Coffee by Gillespie roasts every order fresh from a small shop in Wisconsin using direct-trade beans.
These aren't random merchants. Each one has chosen to run a bitcoin rewards program because they believe in what bitcoin represents. When you shop with them, you're supporting that and earning bitcoin on top of it.
New businesses are added regularly.
Polls are just the beginning. We're building out more ways to earn from the newsletter, including engagement streaks for consistent readers, VIP tiers with boosted rewards, and referral bonuses for bringing your friends in. More on all of that soon.
The Oshi newsletter is free, the rewards are real, and the businesses are worth discovering. If you've been looking for a way to stack sats without grinding through tasks or downloading another app, this is it.
